Dance Legend - Thermal Glitter!

Hey Ladies,

Missing me!? I'm posting whenever I feel like it...uni and just travelling has me feeling really unmotivated and tired that I barely open the laptop. Yesterday was such a long day for me, left the house at 7:30 and got back by 9pm and had only slept 4 hours that day. My giveaway had ended earlier that morning and I didn't even get to draw the winners until this morning!

Congratulations to the ladies that won :)!

About a week ago in the UK polish and beauty swap on Facebook Sam was selling so many beauties! And I saw she had one of the Dance Legend thermal beauties and I had to snap it up instantly! And I have to say NO REGRETS! I utterly LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE it :D and heck I kept on playing with it! Making my hands warm and then cold! Everyone I knew had to see the effect! I drove my mother MENTAL showing her! LOL

Its a wonderful one coater of a polish and dries average. I did notice that after 2 days there was some tip wear but who bloody cares!? I just love the effect more to care!

Here are my swatches :) And I was super sad to wipe it off! Dance Legend Thermo Shine 181 - It's a lovely dark red almost black on cold nails then it turns super bright red when warm! TOOOO COOOL :D

So many pretty glitters :D !!!

I absolutely love how it transitions! And this is my favourite polish so far up to date and will be my favourite for a real long time now! :D

If any one wants to send me thermal polish I will be more than happy to receive it! lol :D

Models Own - Sterling Silver + Stamping!

Hey all,

Hope you are all having a lovely Saturday :) I woke up pretty late and then was lazy then did my nails :P What a productive day! lol

I have a swatch of Models Own - Sterling Silver. To be honest, its nothing different than the other silver polishes I own, its shimmery and a nightmare to take off...just like all shimmery silver polishes.

I have two coats on and no topcoat :)

I decided to stamp over it with a black polish using a diamond design, pretty simple and nice over silver polish :) I also didn't clean up around my nails. A few weeks ago Nail Art Novice posted in the British Nail Bloggers Facebook page suggesting we post a messy manicure. I missed out on posting mine because I've been so busy and lazy lol :D

I really hate cleaning up around my cuticle and nails after stamping a design, because the polish ends up soaking and adding a washed out effect under the cuticles which makes it harder to clean or when you do get it clean you get a faint colour of the polish all over you skin....NIGHTMARE!

Here it is...better late than never!

I did end up cleaning it up and here is the cleaned version :)

What do you think? Do you hate clean up and polish all over your skin? Does it drive you insane!?!?!

SparRitual - Determination!

Hey Ladies,

I hope you are all having a very merry Christmas. I don't celebrate Christmas but it is such a lovely day of the year, I love all the Christmas lights and all the effort every one goes to, to make their family and friends have a good day :)

Today I have a swatch of SpaRitual's - Determination from the Odyssey collection *Press Sample*. It is a range of lovely matte polishes! I do love me a good matte polish, just love the texture and rubbing it on my upper lip :D lol

Determination is a matte black colour, it does exactly as it's suppose to. I have two easy coats on and there was a bit of streaking...thankfully it evened out after the second coat! Drying time with mattes are pretty damn fast and it was completely dry to the touch in 2 minutes or so!

Here it is :)

I do love the matte touch on this polish :) There are cheaper alternatives like Barry M - Espresso which is also matte. In my opinion this polish is more matte :)

I added a bit of a goldy touch to the polish using NYC - Gold topcoat!

Really brings out the black! Gold and Black are just so darn elegant together!

Whats lurking in the dark!?

Swatcher - Barry M Matte - Espresso and Caramel!

Hey ladies!

Almost Friday :D YAAAAAY!

As you all know Barry M released some new Matte polishes a few weeks ago and I decided to buy two of them. The two that really appealed to me were Caramel and Espresso....Espresso because I was in the Halloween mood and that was such a fitting colour! I used it in my Vampire Bites post (HERE). And then I have been looking for a perfect skin tone colour and when I saw Caramel I just knew I had to have it!!!!

I am EXTREMELY impressed by these Matte polishes! They are very Matte and very smooth and really great coverage as well as no chipping and fast drying times! Seriously perfect in my opinion :)

Here is a swatch of Espresso:

Just perfect!

Next up is Caramel:

REALLY matches my skin tone! My favorite!! :D

What do you ladies think? I really think they are worth the money :D

Vampire Bites!

Hey all :)

Second post of the day! I have about 7 posts worth of pictures to edit and blog about! I'm on my study break so thought I'd get this little Halloween design out to you all!

Someone close to me gave me the idea for this manicure and all I had to do was to paint it on my nails! I hope I did it justice!

So it's obviously bloody and vapirey :D lol I used Barry M's Matte - Espresso as the base colour and some glitter and a white striper polish :) And the red is by Boujoir but no idea the name!

I hate to say that I am so much happier this year with my Halloween manicures!

Swatcher - NYC Smokey Topcoat - Greenday!

Hello lovelies!

Whatcha all up to this Saturday?! I'm working on a new crochet project which I'm gonna keep a secret for now, when its done I'll do some nail art to match it! So keep your eyes peeled!

Today I have for you all a swatch of NYC Smokey Topcoat - Greenday. Firstly, I didn't even know this existed!! I went into superdrug to just have a look and just go "I wish I had money to spend on nail polish!" lol then I saw this beauty along with a gold topcoat on the shelf! I was like oh hell, I have to buy this! Picked it up and went to the till. I had no spare change, Nooooooo :( So I asked how many points I had on my Superdrug card and wow, I had enough!

(I'm not cheap, I spend about £150 a month on travel from my student loan which isn't enough to spend carelessly!)

My thoughts on this polish is that it is amazing, I knew it would be similar to the Smokey Muse I swatch a few months back HERE. It has amazing green hex glitters along with some duochrome little glitters which shine blue, green, gold and purple in the light from what I can see! They are all suspended in a black gelly :) My swatch is one thin coat and one thick coat which both dried averagely. This is definitely my favourite polish to date!

Brush Stroke Nail Art Dot Thing!

Hey All,

Pops for the super catchy title, I am so tired after a day out with my best friend! My legs hurt so much, walked like forever!

Been away for a few days because of lack of motivation, now i'm sipping green tea, lemon and honey and so motivated to blog!

I have a manicure for you guys today that included using a brush and dotting tool with various colours! It was pretty simple, I got the idea from Missjenfabulous on youtube where she did simple nail art. I changed up the colours and did my base coat as a green and used other bright colours here and there! Then blocked it out with black and dotted on my other fingers :)

Here it is!
