Roses - Inspired By PaulinasPassions!

Hey all :)

What a lovely Monday right?! I just got back from a long day at Uni and a course I took...bloody tired I tell ya!
 Let me make your day even better with the nail art I did! 

I was inspired by Paulina's Passions when I saw her roses nail art on Facebook, you can see it HERE! It's such a lovely manicure and I just had to try it out! 

I have to say that the glitter placement was a real nightmare, my hands are super shaky so every time I kept trying to add the glitters they kept going in the wrong place! Which meant it kinda turned  out wonky! LOL :D 

I decided to change up the colours in my version of her manicure and used a mint green as my base colour and purples as the roses :)

Here it is!

I really like how it turned out and defo was really inspired to try this out! I hope I did it justice Paulina! What do you think!?

Swatcher - Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro - Violet Metal!

Hey ladies :)

Have a quick swatch post for you guys, I have this AMAZING purple nail polish my mum bought for me recently! It's an absolutely stunning duochrome polish, shifting from purple to blue to pink in natural light....really makes you go "oooOOooOo" and there's shimmer in it!

I think this is one of Rimmels really old shades from like 2010 or something :)

I like the square bottles much better than the rounded ones they have now!

Here are the swatches :) I have two coats on which is a plus!

Its just so pretty! What do you ladies think!?

Swatcher - Revlon Scented - Grape Fizz!

Hey Lovelies!

I have some great news! I popped into the Pound shop to buy some tissues and was faced with a bunch of Revlon polishes! :O *gasp!* But these polishes cost so much! how could they be here for only a pound?! 

As you do, you start picking out the ones you like and end up buying them all! Even the colours you don't want (I hope I'm not the only one that does that!) 

Today I'm gonna show you Grape Fizz :) It's suppose to smell like grapes and it does! The smell is so strong that I could smell it while crocheting! Even when I added topcoat I could still smell it, I thought that maybe the topcoat would take away the smell but it had no effect on it!

I absolutely love the little fleckles in it! They're like gold and so damn shiney!

I have to warn you all that most of the Revlon Fizz Scented polishes are so very sheer, Grape Fizz took about 4 coats to make it opaque and even then the nail line was visible. I didn't mind this!

Awesome Purple Gradient +Glitter!

Hey ladieeeeees :D

I am still loving gradients and glitter and what better to combine the both eh?!

I've already done a Green, Pink and Blue gradient! It's about time I did a purple one :D!!!

For the purple gradient I used NYC - Boundless Berry and Lavender Cupcake and then I used Barry M's Foil Effect in Lilac :)

Here it is!

Such a pretty purple gradient! To make it look even more cooler I added some glitter on top! OMG it looks wonderful with glitter!! :D I used Barry M's - Pink Sapphire :)

I cannot express how much I LOVEEEEEEEE it with glitter on top! Just makes it look UH-MAZING!! :D

The Stripey Moon!

Hey girls!

I haven't blogged in about 5 days, I've been away because I has laser eye surgery on Thursday and since then I've been "resting! my eyes! Not really resting them if i'm blogging, but I couldn't stay away! I missed painting my nails, replying to comments and checking out everyone's content!

I did something really simple on my nails since my eyes are so sore!

What better than a simple half-moon mani that I've been addicted to doing :D 

I love texture as you all know, so I really wanted to use this one by Barry M :)

Diagnol Tips!

Hey girls!

 

Got a post for you guys from school!! no watermark or editing just pure pictures! these are not worth even stealing haha so yeah....different post for you all today I guess!

 

My life is changing and im feeling really good and im really happy and optimistic about the future and what is holds for me! Moving on is the best feeling ever...so mooooove along! ;)

 

So in class today my tutor Laura, brought her nail varnish in and her stash is pretty small and consists of pinks, reds and purples!! lol, she loves those colours! haha, she even had one that was a double...she gave it to me! yaaaay!!

 

I painted my nails with it and im happy becasue this is my first Bourjois nail polish ever and I love it! this is only one coat :D has no name though :(

 

 

Really loving the quality! And I couldnt leave it like this, so I just used Rimmel London - Black Cherries and did diagnol tips :)

 

 

 

 

Super duper simple but still great looking I think!!

Swatcher ~ Essie ~ Curve Ball!

Hey all :)

Today I just have a swatch for you all, Its nothing special or big but just a post to past the time I guess :)

The lab technician at school had some nail polish she didnt want so I took that opportunity to take a few, one of the polishes she gave me is Essie - Curve Ball a really nice shimmery purple!

I love how it looks on my nails but I dont think it goes with my skin tone..I dunno lol :)

Satin Skittle!

Hey girls,

Again I've gone out and bought some more nail polish from my favorite drugstore brand which is NYC....just a side note, my mother doesn't like nail polish so every time I go home with some I get an ear full..quite annoying since I love it and I love my blog...would adore some support from her *sad rant over*

Anyways, I realised in my stash I don't own any Satin finish nail polish and I invested in some :D I bought a red, purple and a gold! I shall do a swatch post soon but first I'll show you all the random skittle mani I did with them!

If you cant tell, on my index I have random dots. on my middle and ring I have done roses. My pinky is leopard print :)

I like how this randomness turned out, what do y'all thinkies?!

In other news, I had a bet with my Mr Dork and now I have to do American flag nails (since he is 'Mercian!) sighh...on my toes too! I am not looking forward to this :P I'm gonna put it off for as long as possible...if you're reading this love...MUAHAHA this battle isn't over I will get you to paint your nails!!

Water Marble Attempt #Kill Me!

Hello!

The title just says it all...this killed me! Water marbling is just one of those bloody damn techniques I cant even get right! No matter how many tutorials or bloody tips I follow I still cant manage to pull off a decent manicure! This LITERALLY took me 6 attempts! I actually nearly gave up...why? because I spilt a bottle of nail polish all over my carpet! My lovely green circle carpet now has a large red stain! 

Hell no, I wont give up! I will not allow this technique to get the best of me! 

Which resulted in this: 

Looks a bit funky and I like it! Although I wanted it to be a little more consistent but I couldn't achieve that on my index and pinky! LOL

What do you think of water marbling? I HATE IT!
