Studsies - Born Pretty Store Silver & Gold Studs!

Hey all.

Having a good weekend? :)

Today I have my second review for the studs* I got from the Born Pretty Store! They are gold and silver in colour and vary in sizes, from 1.2mm, 2mm and 3mm :)

I really like having that variation in size, it means I can place more than one stud on my nails :)

I did a really simple design using these and inspiration from bloggers here and there :)

Here it is:

There is one annoying thing about the larger studs, they are too concave. Which means when I wanted to place them on my nails they didn't stick that well. Other than that I am happy with these studs and will defo be using them more in the future!

These cost $3.95 from Born Pretty Store and the link is HERE

Errmagerd I Got Me Studs!

Hey Ladies,

How is it all going!?

I have a review today for you all of Born Pretty Store 400pcs 2mm Neon Studs*...I am so EXCITEEEEED :D!! I love studs, I have seen so many bloggers use them and create wonderful manicures! I just really wanted some and I am so glad that I got sent some to review! Whooop! :D

Here are the Studs - A bunch of wonderful colours, some are neon and a few are pastel :) I do love that there is such a variety of colours and has some pastel colours too! The size is great, you can definitely fit more that one stud on you nail nicely.

I created two manicures with these studs, first one is pastel zig zags and I used the purple and coral pink studs!

I love how the studs stick so firmly, it was hard tryna get em off. I think this is because the studs are concave so when the clear top coat sets in, it really sticks hard!

Next up is a simple triangle tape mani in blue and green and I used neon blue and green studs!

Again, the studs really add that much needed touch :) I love it!

Overall, I am pretty pleased with these studs. They are shiny and have really good colours and I actually reuse them :)

You can buy them HERE for $7.59 and use my 10% voucher code! wooooop!
Code: NDX31

Next time ill be back with a review of the silver and gold studs :) stay tuned!

Thanks for reading :)

Models Own - Velvet Goth Collection!

Hey all,

Almost Friday...WOOOOOO!!

I have good news, I finally invested in a good phone...okay my iPhone 4s wasn't that bad but damn...the Samsung Galaxy S4's camera is da bomb! lol :D

I knew I had to wait to get this phone to photograph the Models Own Velvet Goth Collection I got last week. They are a bunch of glitters, in a coloured base which dries a little matte. I didn't add any topcoat to my swatch because I don't mind the slight grittiness to it and I love matte!

OH! And I really love the fluffy texture on the bottle tops! :D reminds me of the fluff thingie powder for nails!

Here are my swatches :)

First up is Obsidian - It is a bunch of silver glitters suspended in a black jelly base, really super shiny and I love that the glitter is so dense in this polish and the rest of them! I have two coats on without top coat

Next is Valerian - A deep blue jelly with some silver, blue and fine black glitters in it. Easy coverage again in two coats without any topcoat!

Third up is Amethyst - An amazing purple jelly which I absolutely love! I can't get enough of how nice the glitter looks in the purple base! It contains purple and silver glitters in it :) no topcoat again!

Next is Sardonyx - Again, a major fan of this red jelly base! I would love just buy the jelly bases alone because they are so rich in colour! Contains fine black and red glitters! Two coats and no topcoat :)

Last but certainly not least, my absolute favourite of the collection Absinthe - A beautiful deep emerald green colour with fine green and silver glitter and large green hexes. This is just a WOW for me! I really really really love it! :D two coats and no topcoat :)

I do love this collection a lot, these are my first glitters within a coloured base and I am defo not disappointed!
What do you guys think!?

Don't forget I have a give away running :) check it out HERE

Swatcher - Revlon Scented - GrapeFruit Fizz!

Hey lovelies!

Thank bloody goodness grief it is FRIDAY! I am tired of travelling with the train, Flipping Metropolitan here in London keeps getting delayed or terminating earlier than I want it to! Can you believe I took 7....YES 7 trains on Tuesday due to flippin signal failures!

Phew! Now onto today's postie post :) I have for you another Revlon Scented polish and it is GrapeFruit Fizz, another extremely sheer polish that took about 4 layers and you can still see my nail line. I love the sparkle it but I am really not a fan of the smell! It smells like grapefruit but more like those cleaning products that have the scent of a flavor! I don't like it at all!

Here it is :)

Overall, I am not a fan of it...glad it was for £1 and not the original price lol since I would have defo regretted buying it!

Hey Ladies! And new followers <3

Swatch post for you all today! For my birthday my Mum got me some awesome glitter polishes by Barry M :D They have to be one of my favorites! So I decided to swatch them for all you lovely ladies :)

Today I will be showing you Pink Silver Glitter (what a catchy name right!? :P) This is one of the finest glitters I won, Its filled with...you guessed it pink and silver fine glitters! that build up amazingly!

Completely dry in a couple minutes and FULL coverage! It does dry to a kinda gritty feeling but I love that so didn't bother with top coat :) My swatch is three thin coats!

I'm really impressed with this glitter and it is one of my favorites now!

Swatcher - 2true Glitterati Shade 4!

Hey Ladies!

I have a glitter review and swatch today for you all!

I'm sure you have all seen the Glitterati collection by 2true :) I have one of them today for you all and its Shade number 4. Would be nice if they had a fancy name, right!?

Anyways, I like this glitter...my nitty picks are that I wish the base wasn't so stinky and it just drags the base colour and makes it patchy :( I suggest painting a layer of topcoat and then waiting about 20 - 30 mins until it all fully dries and then add this glitter on top!

Other than that I love the glitters! It includes small and large hexes in the colours blue and pink! Makes any coloured base pretty :D I have it layered over O.P.I - Mediterranean Moonlight!

Here it is :)

You can really see that this glitter really adds another edge onto the base colour :)!!

What do you guys think?! I really want to get my hands on the other shades!

Thanks for reading :)

Swatcher - Barry M - Ruby Glitter!

Hey Ladies!

A few days off from blogging, Been busy doing errands and such! I have great news too!! I got my results for my science course I was doing! I achieved 3 Distinction* thats equivalent to 3 A* :D I am so proud of myself that I was able to achieve this....This means that I got my first choice University place! So coming September I will be starting Biomedical Science at Brunel University!! I am actually so excited! woo!

Since I'm loving glitter lately I bought Barry M's - Ruby Glitter! This is such a beautiful glitter full of pink and black hexes and micro bar glitters! :D I absolutely adore this! It's my new favorite!

I was able to get a great coverage with just one brush stroke. The glitter is so densely packed that one coat was enough! The base it was in dried super quickly and I am very pleased with this buy :)

My swatch is over NYC - Lavender Cupcake :) on my dominant hand (lefty!)

Do any of you ladies do this too!? I know Mina from Cubbiful does! :D lol

Annoying side note: seems like I posted this blog post earlier but blogger kinda effed up do it was saved in drafts as an empty post :( had to write everything again!

Flowery Meadow!

Hey ladies :D

It has been a great few days here in London, the sun is shining and I am making the most of my summer holidays by going out and seeing the few friends I have!
Went to a buffet and a lovely walk in the park on Sunday (super hot that day!) loved that day out, since I really needed a good catching up with my friend :D
Then yesterday I went to the cinema and watched "Now You See Me" OMG great movie!! Really recommend it if you like movies that puzzle you and make you go WOAH! at the end :D muahahaha

Anyways moving on to the naily part of life! I created a simple flower dot manicure which I kept on for days, using the SpaRitual polishes I received. Swatches of Optical Illusion HERE and Emerald City HERE :D

Love how it turned out :)

What do you think!?

Thanks for reading and enjoy the lovely sunshine while it lasts!

Swatcher - SpaRitual - Emerald City!

Hey All :D

In my last post I swatched SpaRitual - Optical Illusion and mentioned that SpaRitual polishes are 5 free and vegan!

Well, today's post is a swatch of SpaRitual's Emerald City :D I loveeeeeeeee this colour! It's such a lovely bluey greeny colour with a gelly finish and really shiny!!
I found the polish to be quite sheer which meant I had to paint on many layers, I did one thin layer then two thick ones which is easy with the lovely thin polish brush which perfectly goes to my cuticles and gives an even layer of polish :) Since my nails are really white, after a few hours I added another coat just to hide my nail line!

SpaRitual polishes dry fast so the layering was no problem for me :) I would recommend layering it over white which would make the colour really pop!

Here are the swatches :D

You can definitely see how shiny it is :D I am really happy with this polish, but it would be better if it wasn't so sheer!

SpaRitual polishes retail for £9.75 and to view more of their polishes check out their website www.sparitual.co.uk :)

What do you think?!

Stay tuned, next time I have some nail art using these polishes :D

Swatcher - SpaRitual - Optical Illusion!

Hey Girls!

Today's post is a swatch :D yaay we all love swatches!

I am swatching and reviewing SpaRitual Nail Lacquer, their nail lacquer is 5 free and don't contain harmful chemicals, as well as that they are vegan! So for anyone who is completely vegan you can use SpaRitual nail polish without worrying about animals!

I was thrilled when Rachel contacted me to review SpaRitual polishes! I love new brands and since this is my first review I couldn't wait to receive them! I was actually so impatient I kept on emailing her :P sorry!
I got sent two green shades, which as you all know by now is my favourite colour ever! :D

Left - Optical Illusion. Right - Emerald City.
I couldn't wait to put on Optical Illusion :D I love the colour loads!

The polish consistency is slightly on the watery side so it means easier application but you may have to build it up. I painted one thin coat first, which dried quite fast making it easier to layer on the second and third thick coat :)  I needed an additional coat due to my nail line being so white! You could always layer the polish over white but I preferred it without!

Beautiful shine in the sun!

Optical Illusion is such a lovely shade of a limey dark green, it has goldy greeny flecks in it which just add to the lovely colour! I found it to transition into a blue fleck in the sun, sadly my camera couldn't catch that! :D Love that effect!
Removal was easy but the fleckly (New word!?) bits got stuck around the nail so just washed my hands to remove them :)

Next post I will show you guys Emerald City! So keep your eyes peeled! :D

SpaRitual polishes retail for £9.75 and to view more of their polishes check out their website www.sparitual.co.uk :)
