Seventeen - High Shine - Miami & Wave!

Hey all :)

Today I have a swatch of Seventeen High Shine nail polish. I've mainly seen this polish in Boots, I saw them the other week for £1 each in the reduction basket! Can't beat that! lol

I know that I vowed I wouldn't buy nail polish and I haven't, these ones my sister bought (THANK GOD!) and I decided to swatch them :)

Typically, blue and pink cremes are colours everyone has and I myself have them too...they've run out so im defo stealing these from my sister >:) hehe! 

They are pretty shiny and I didn't need top coat at all, similar to the Barry M gelly's really :)

Here are the swatches:

First up is Miami, a lovely two coater (could defo get away with one!) very shiny and dries really fast :)

Next is a lovely blue called Wave, defo an accurate name! It's such a lovely opaque creme blue...two coater as well and really shiny!

I think that these polishes are really good for stamping and I will try them out in the future! :) They are very close to the Barry M Gelly collection and also worth the £1 :D ahah can't beat a good bargain!

New Year Nails....a bit late!

Hey all :)

2nd of January, how are the resolutions holding up?

I have one resolution that may shock you all...i'm gonna stop buying nail polish :O in all honesty I really don't need any more! I need to make use of all the colours I already have!

I'll let you all know if this resolution sticks...mayyyyyyyyyybe not :P hehe!

I did a pretty easy nail clash glitter firework thingy for new years, just painted my nails in a dark deep blue sky colour and then I added various glitters to my nail to resemble the fireworks :) then a little 2014 on my thumb in case you all still thought it was 2013 :D

Pretty simple :) but I think it looks great hehe!

Bluey Greeny Petals!

Hey All :)

First of all it feels like i've been away for a really long time! Haven't touched my laptop in two days nor have I crocheted or painted my nails! Yup...that is what University does to you :P I bet you all envy me, right?!

Anyways, I have for you all a simple but nice (I guess!) nail art using an oval shaped brush. All I did was get polish on one side of the brush and make some stupid proof flower shapes!

OMG I'M FINALLY 20!!

Hey Ladies,

As you can all tell by the title, today is my birthday! Yes, I am finally 20 years old...doesn't feel any different besides sore knees and always feeling sleepy (lol jk) Time has gone so quick and I can't believe that i'm already 20 in no time! I remember being 10 years old and at school being asked "What do you think you'll be doing in 10 years time" and I've always answered "I think I'll be a scientist!" lol :D And here I am today, blogging and starting my Biomedical Science Undergraduate course in two weeks!

For today I just wanted to go simple but sparkly! What better than painting my nails with my favorite colour of all time GREEEEEN :D and adding some blue and green glitter to it! Absolute beauty :)

This green is just my favorite!! My lovely friend got it for me :D

Foil Explosion Stamping - Blue Edition!

Hey ladies!

Over the next few days I am going to show you a few stamping manicures I did using the NYC Foil Explosion collection :) I have previously swatched these so if you would like to see them in more detail follow this link (HERE) 

I am first starting off with blue :) so I painted my nails with NYC - Ink Stain. It's a lovely deep blue! 

Then I stamped on using Aqua Mystic. Seriously ladies, this stamped on perfectly! The foil colour is so pigmented and really really adds a lovely effect!

PMP Magic Swatch (First Indie!)

Hey Ladies!

So darn excited to share this post with you all today! I have officially purchased my first Indie, who better than from Charlie (Pocket Money Polishes) one of the amazing blogger girls I follow!

I saw so many reviews of her polish and decided that hers should be my first, so yeah...I lost my indie virginity people! HAHA!

The one I absolutely had to have was (It's A Kind Of) Magic from the Glitter Babies 3 - Summer Fun Collection! This glitter is amazing! It's all greeny with a hint of purple and blue :D and just OMG!!

The polish contains (from what my eyes can see!):

- Neon green squares

- Pastel green hexes

- Purple hexes

- Blue holo hexes

- Small fine silver glitter

Bloody damn beautiful I think!

Before I show you the swatches I have to say that the application was great! I got a decent amount f glitter on my nail with only one brush full, I didnt really have to place the glitter and it all evened out itself! That is always a plus :)

Awesome Bluey Gradient + Stamping!

Hey Ladies,

Been posting every day since Monday, proud of me!? This is a first for me! 

It seems like all the gradients I'm doing is making me enjoy painting my nails more often! The possibilities are endless :)

So far I did a green gradient (HERE) and a pink gradient (HERE) and now it's time for a blue gradient! I did some stamping on top of the blue gradient to add an extra effect :)

I added a wavey design to make it look like the ocean :) love how it turned out!

Blue Roses!

Hey all,

I saw this tutorial a few days ago but I completely forgot from where! My terrible memory is just a joke!

The tutorial showed how to make roses using two of the same colours but different shades and making swirls using a dotting tool!

Its so easy that even I was able to pull it off, I love how it turned out and the base colour really makes the roses pop!

Here it is :)

I absolutley love how this manicure turned out and it was so easy to do!

Greeny Gradienty Glittery!

Hey All,

Simple nail art today, I have a gradient topped of with glitter! But not any old boring glitter :D its NYC - lights, camera, glitter!

An amazing small fine glitter with blue and pink hex glitters in it :D I've been topping this over a lot of colours as you can tell from previous posts!

As i've mentioned before, gradients are so tedious...all the clean up needed afterwards..UGH! I used tape and damn PVA glue...still didn't help with the clean up!

Anywho, still got this working :D here it is!

My nail match the sunburst granny square I'm working on :D

The Stripey Moon!

Hey girls!

I haven't blogged in about 5 days, I've been away because I has laser eye surgery on Thursday and since then I've been "resting! my eyes! Not really resting them if i'm blogging, but I couldn't stay away! I missed painting my nails, replying to comments and checking out everyone's content!

I did something really simple on my nails since my eyes are so sore!

What better than a simple half-moon mani that I've been addicted to doing :D 

I love texture as you all know, so I really wanted to use this one by Barry M :)

Can't go wrong with wool!
