Dogs Trust Team With Models Own + Giveaway!

How are you all? excited that it's Friday and a relaxing weekend is ahead!?

Today I have for you all a polish from Models Own who have teamed up with Dogs Trust to make a limited edition nail polish called 25 Carat Gold. It is to mark the 35th anniversary of Dogs Trust's famous slogan "A dog is for life...not just for Christmas"

The profit made from selling these lovely limited edition gold polishes will all go to Dogs Trust, to help those cute little doggies find a permanent home!

I personally am not a fan of dogs, more of a kitty girl :D but if I could I would home a dog!

The gold polish is actually really lovely, completely opaque in two coats and really really shiny! The application is easy and dries average.

This is one of the best and only gold polishes I now have in my polish collection! :D

Green Gold Sandwich!

Hey all,

My exam is tomorrow! ARGHHHH!! Not looking forward to it at all I am kinda ready but not ready but ugh :( lol

I'm tryna relax by blogging, here is something I put together a few days ago. I used Models Own - Midori and NYC - Gold Topcoat to do a glitter sandwich. The green is so sheer that it made the gold look so amazing!

I am impressed at how perfect this turned out!

It shines through so nicely! What do you guys think!?

33DC #crumpetsnailtarts - Oldest Untried!

Hey All :)

1 day late with the Crumpets 33DC! Can't blame me I'm a good girl doing my school work muahahah!

The theme was Nail art with your oldest untried! Well to be honest I have so many polishes I haven't used in a while and the oldest I can remember is Orly - Solid Gold! I haven't used this polish since last swatching it about a year ago I think :)

It's a lovely gold matte polish which I adore! I have one coat on here :)

It's really lovely :) So I just did a simple nail art skittle design to go along with it!

Elegant Gold Manicure

Hey all :)

It's funny how I quickly run out of ideas and Just feel like poop when I paint my nails! I tend to feel disappointed quickly and wipe em all off, have you ladies had this before!?

I love it when some one close to me helps out with ideas :) really gets me going quickly!

I was given the idea to do a half-moon with gold, taking this idea I turned it into something along the lines of elegant :) haha

here it is :)

It looks good right?! I think the pink dots just added that effect to it :)

Henna Inspired Nail Art!

Hey girls!

Today I have a manicure I did a few days ago inspired by the henna design I got done at a charity event! I love how it turned out....but the girl that did it was so annoying that she deserves to be bitten :P muahaha

The design is pretty simple and but quite elegant and pretty!

I mean look at how pretty that turned out!

I was inspired by this and decided to "ATTEMPT" it on my nails...didn't turn out that great but hey ho...its something RIGHT?!

Jewelry ~ My Favorite Necklace!

Hey there!

This weeks challenge theme is Jewelry and I was looking around for inspiration online, when I realised the answer is right under my nose!

My favorite necklace of all time is my apple necklace that a friend gave to me! I love it to bits and I always wear it with my outfits. It opens up and I love annoying everyone with the clicky noise it makes! hehe :)

Satin Skittle!

Hey girls,

Again I've gone out and bought some more nail polish from my favorite drugstore brand which is NYC....just a side note, my mother doesn't like nail polish so every time I go home with some I get an ear full..quite annoying since I love it and I love my blog...would adore some support from her *sad rant over*

Anyways, I realised in my stash I don't own any Satin finish nail polish and I invested in some :D I bought a red, purple and a gold! I shall do a swatch post soon but first I'll show you all the random skittle mani I did with them!

Picture quality is terrible today, sorry guys!

If you cant tell, on my index I have random dots. on my middle and ring I have done roses. My pinky is leopard print :)

I like how this randomness turned out, what do y'all thinkies?!

In other news, I had a bet with my Mr Dork and now I have to do American flag nails (since he is 'Mercian!) sighh...on my toes too! I am not looking forward to this :P I'm gonna put it off for as long as possible...if you're reading this love...MUAHAHA this battle isn't over I will get you to paint your nails!!

Swatcher ~ Collection ~ Shadow and Dark Chocolate Tiger!

Hey girlies,

I was looking in my stash the other day and I found a poor untried!! I had to immediately take it out and try it on :D

This poor little guy is amazing!!! I love the depth of the colour and how evenly it painted on with no streaks and full coverage in two coats...not to mention amazingly fast drying between each coat!!

This amazing untried is Collection - Shadow! Personally I think the name dark chocolate would have suited it more, it seriously looked like dark chocolate and I could eat my fingers all up!

I luffie how it looks on my nails!!

I couldn't leave this swatch plain so I stamped using Cheek stamping plate number 2 with the tiger design :D

This has got to be my fav combination of colours :D

Swatcher ~ Sinful Colors - Kissy!

Hey girls!

Following on the Sinful Colors haul from two posts ago (HERE) this is the last shade I indulged in!

It's a lovely blue with gold speckles in it, seriously this shines so much in the light and the transition of colors really pops and its very noticeable...gotta say this is one of my favorite blue shades so far and I know that Mr Dork will defo approve of this shade!

My swatch shows four extremely thin coats, my nail line is still visible but who cares?

It's sooooo pretty! I love how the color really shows! Although one annoying point is that when removing my nails still had the gold speckly bits on it, I found that kinda frustrating!

Its so speckled and really so extremely shiny, totally one of my best buys :D

Keep your eyes peeled out for some nail art tomorrow with this bad boy!

Cookie Monster!

Hey...

So I just got home from work (literally 20 mins ago!) and its 9pm and I'm dying. Anyone wanna massage me?

One of my best friends LOVESSSSSS cookies and I decided to do the cookie monster on my nails. It's not an original idea and I browsed through some photos on the web to create this design!
