MoYou Stamping Plate Review!

Hey ladies,

Earlier in the week I got an email from MoYou asking me if I could review their stamping plates...okay at first I was a little confused because I have been out of blogging for over 2 months! Lol, I never expected it, so it was a nice surprise.

I received plate numbers 103 and 105. I used plate 105 for the look I am about to show you.
When I received the plates they were covered in a protective blue cover which you remove. Also got the scraper and stamper along with black polish :)

I was really impressed with the plates, this is because the designs on the 105 plate are really thin and they transferred clearly onto the stamper. The polish itself was really good too which helped in the stamping.

I created a simple look, I used a base of Barry M - Caramel then I added glitter near my cuticles which is by Jess Polish (forgot the name) I stamped on the bow design and decided to make a decal by painting it in green :)

Here it is!

I really like these plates, once my nails are longer I will use plate 103 since its all tip designs :)

You can find these plates HERE and HERE

Bye for now!

NOTW - Skittles and Swatch!

Hey Ladies,

Again it has been a while since I've posted something!

This time round I decided to just show you all what's been on my nails this past 8 days or so.

This passed week I painted my nails using glitter and stamping, made a pretty impressive skittle I think! Love the colour contrast between purple and green :) also I added more glitter on top of the tiger stamped nails just to stick to the theme of glitter! I had this on for a good 5 days :O that's a first!

Here it is :)

What do you think of this little skittle? :)

Okay, now for the next manicure. I bought one of those Jess polishes that everyone has been talking about in Poundland! I bought a green glitter one, its packed with green and gold glitter that is just so lovely on my nails! :D
I layered Tiger Lilly (awesome name!) over a bright green polish :)

Really impressed and definitely worth that pound! Lol!

I did paint my nails with Barry M - Papaya and layer over one of the new Maybelline graffiti polishes (review soon!) but here is a little sneek peek :)

So this has been my week or so of nails, I think I'll be doing this more often as it's more manageable for me :) What do you guys think!?

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Bye for now!

Texture Dots And Diamonds!

Hey All :)

Hope you've all had an amazing week, I myself have been pretty busy and I can barely get in time to crochet and do my nails. I do have a degree to work for so im putting more focus into that, hopefully when the summer rolls around I will be posting more manicures as well as crocheting my ass off!

Today, I have a simple manicure I did using dots and stamping and glitter and texture! LOL
I managed to find 6 out of the 8 sugar coat polishes by Sally Hansen at Pounland! So sad I couldnt find the pink and purple one, if nobody wants their one please send it to me!!!!! :D LOL forever grateful!! Haha

This manicure is simple but oh so pretty :) I didn't want to wipe it off my nails at all!

Here it is :)

I thoroughly enjoy having texture on my nails, as you all know I enjoy rubbing it on my lip!

What do you guys think of this manicure?
Thanks for reading!

Models Own - Sterling Silver + Stamping!

Hey all,

Hope you are all having a lovely Saturday :) I woke up pretty late and then was lazy then did my nails :P What a productive day! lol

I have a swatch of Models Own - Sterling Silver. To be honest, its nothing different than the other silver polishes I own, its shimmery and a nightmare to take off...just like all shimmery silver polishes.

I have two coats on and no topcoat :)

I decided to stamp over it with a black polish using a diamond design, pretty simple and nice over silver polish :) I also didn't clean up around my nails. A few weeks ago Nail Art Novice posted in the British Nail Bloggers Facebook page suggesting we post a messy manicure. I missed out on posting mine because I've been so busy and lazy lol :D
I really hate cleaning up around my cuticle and nails after stamping a design, because the polish ends up soaking and adding a washed out effect under the cuticles which makes it harder to clean or when you do get it clean you get a faint colour of the polish all over you skin....NIGHTMARE!

Here it is...better late than never!

I did end up cleaning it up and here is the cleaned version :)

What do you think? Do you hate clean up and polish all over your skin? Does it drive you insane!?!?!

Thanks for reading :D

Bye for now!

Green Nude Stripes!

Hey all,

Procrastination at its best, I have an exam in four days and I'm stressing really hard but keep taking breaks to crochet, eat, text and of course paint my nails!

This morning I painted my nails with a nude polish Barry M - Caramel (my fav!) and then decided to do a stamp image over it. At first I was gonna use Barry M - Greenberry then decided to change my mind and use Watermelon instead :)

I stamped on a tiger stripe from one of the cheeky plates I own :) I added glitter to my ring finger and some silver rhinestones to the rest of my nails!

The pictures are a bit out of focus thanks to my shaky hand, hopefully I will be purchasing a new phone soon and the pictures will be amazing!

Here it is :)

It's definitely a simple manicure, but very eye catching and nice :) I do like how it turned out!

What are your thoughts?

Happy New Year! :)

Hey Ladies,

Yup, it's the new year...another year for us all to promise to go to the gym and never go! It's the thought that counts right?

For the new year I've gotton myself a new watermark thanks to a friend of mine, I can't thank her enough! I love how it turned out and its really me :D She got the watermark just perfect! hehe! It's in my new banner too :D

I'm doing a round up of all my favorite manicures of the year and bloody hell it was hard to choose...I'm still wanting to add more pictures to the collages! But managed to stop myself from going insane doing that.

I just love most of the nail stuff I've done!

Lets start off with my favorite glitters :) I love the lot and I will use em all forever!

Second up is my favorite nail art i've done. Both inspired by bloggers and my own!

Now time for some gradients! This year has been full of the stuff :D

Lastly its my favorite stamping manicures i've done!

There is definitely more manicures that i've done but I couldn't fit them all in, which is such a shame because I love everything i've done :D

What do you ladies think? :)

I wish you all a great new year and I hope you can all achieve your resolutions :D

Bumble Bee Buzz!

Hey ladies,
I hope you are doing well today :)

I was so bored of having nothing on my nails for a while that I decided to paint something on them. I was looking around for inspiration and then I realised that I had crocheted a bumble bee brooch and I could paint my nails to match them!

I looked around online for some inspiration and found Alice's (onenailtorulethemall) bee nails that she had done and I used it :)

I used a stamping plate for the perfect lines because for the life of me I cannot draw straight lines on my nails free handedly!

I added some glitter to mix! Here it is :)

I really like how my nails turned out :) What do you guys think?

33DC #crumpetsnailtarts - Indian!

Hey all!

So I missed out on posting this on Friday since I had  no manicure ready for 33DC- Indian! I did some stamping today and I chose a design that reminded me of the lovely patterns you can find on Saris and dresses, Indians wear :)

I'll admit the colour combination is not the best, Black is Barry M's - Espresson and I uses KIKO's - Silver Holo :) I do wish I used brighter colours since that's what everyone things of when you speak of Indian!

Here it is!

Well another failed manicure! Thanks for reading!

Check out the other ladies :)

Elegant Flowery Stampwich!

Hey ladies!

Today I have a manicure inspired by one of my fellow British blogger Cazzy :) over at SpecialGirlNails!

I saw on her blog a few months back where she had taken the idea of a jelly sandwich glitter and turned it into a jelly stampwich! Where you stamp a design over a sheer polish and top it off with the same shee polish and the design still shows through!

This is such a great effect that I had to try it out! My base coat is Sally Hansen - Strike A Pose and I stamped with Orly's - Hot Chocolate :)

Here it is!

Here it is without the layer of colour on top! just for comparison :)

What do you ladies think!?

Foil Explosion Stamping - Green Edition!

Hey Ladies!

Today I am showing you the last of the foil explosion by NYC that I have purchased. I'm going to show you how the green one stamps today!

I'm not really happy about how this turned out :( I didn't have a green that was light enough for the foil to show through clearly! So I choose a light brown to stamp over and I didn't like how the stamp shows....it shows the colour green as silver :( wahhhhh....

Either way it stamped perfectly just like the others and I was okay with that... :) now all I need to do is go out and buy a green that is suitable enough to stamp over!

Here it is!

What do you ladies think?! Doesn't it look more silver rather than green?

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!
