Leopard Love!

Hey guys,

Messy Leopard Print!

Hey guys!

I've decided to attempt the leopard print really messyly (is that even a word?) and I have to say I think it came out kinda good but different...if that makes sense!

Pretty tired at the moment since I've only gone and bagged myself a job! go meeeee!!

Laid Back 31DC - Silver!

Hey guys,

Second day of the challenge requires a silver manicure! What better than being a lazy bum and using your stamping plates!?!?

I decided to do a starry night kind of design since it was the first thing that came into my head being interested in space and the universe like my Mr Dork :)

Sugar Spun Madness!

Hey guys!

I decided to try out a technique I've been meaning to do for a while and that is the sugar spun method. I've seen this on many blogs and some tutorials on YouTube and it intrigued me!

All you have to do is use a toothpick, dotting tool, blah blah blah....and wait till the polish is semi dry and try to pick it up and it forms thin strands which you can place over the nail!

Here is my attempt :)

Its actually more 3D looking in real life! Feels bumpy and nice to touch, cant stop feeling it :D

Ombre Hearts!

Hey guys!

Valentines day is not far off! Woooo! All the love birds get together and sing! haha...

Today I'm feeling in a pretty lovey dovey mood and I know why and so does he...haha!

I just had to do something on my nails to mark off the first of a few valentines designs I have prepared!

I love how this manicure turned out and it will be a shame to wipe it off when it starts chipping...plus who knew my right hand is so artistically skilled at handling a dotting tool so steadily!

The base colour is Essence - Nude Glam
From bottom of my nail to the top are:
Revlon - Demure
Essence - Bright Pink
Revlon - Fire Fox

Addicted To Blue Multi-Stampicure!

Hey guys!

As the title suggests I'm getting addicted to the colour blue, over the past few weeks I have gathered more blue nail polish than I have green....Seriously GREEN MOVE OUT! 

Undoubtedly green is still my favorite colour but now I have a soft spot for blue :)

I have some slightly annoying news, today I found a website with a few of my designs on it and my watermark cropped out...I decided to take action against it and I also asked a friend to help me out by making me a new watermark! He did a great job in creating the PERFECT watermark for my pictures :) Thanks buddy!

I also asked him to give me an odd colour combination and he said blue and red so I did double coloured stamping using both colours on a light base of baby blue!

Mr Dork would be super proud of these since he likes the colour blue too!! The only reason I got addicted is because of him!!

Swatcher ~ NYC - Ink Stain!

Hello everyone!

Today I have a really lovely shade of blue, Its really satin looking and such a lovely deep, shimmery blue!

Been addicted to the colour blue lately since its Mr Dorks favourite colour therefore its suddenly becoming a favourite of mine...WATCH OUT GREEN!

This is a lovely one coater and I had absolutely no streaks! It dried so quickly with a high shine but I still added top coat to add that last effect!

Here are the pictures!

It reminds me of the clear dark blue sky at night! Therefore I had to nail art it with some amazing coolness and make it look like a cloudy night with the mood on show shining brightly!!

I love how this turned out and again I used my right hand to paint it! Since I'm a lefty this was hard but still majorly happy about how it turned out!! :D

Puzzles!

Hey!

I HATE BEING COLD..

That's off my chest! 

So, last night I broke the nail on my index finger...on my right hand! You all know I'm a lefty so that was a bit annoying BUT that doesn't stop me from doing my nails does it now!?!

Today's manicure is inspired by another blogger Kayla Shevonne who did puzzles on her nails during her YouTube nail art week challenge that she is part of! And I thought ill give it a try myself! Click HERE to see Kayla's design!

Before I show you  all the pictures I must add my right hand is super shaky and kinda awkward, it was so hard to achieve perfect lines!

Here it is :)

I personally think this is a bloody good attempt using my non dominant hand! I'm pretty happy how it turned out :)
