August Tri-Polish Challenge - Day 1

Tri-polish time! Been a while since I participated, So I decided august was the time! Thanks to Debbie (The Crumpet) for hosting this :)

This month colours are Yellow, Green and Red :)

I have no idea what the hell this is, just a random thing I did and went with it :) I call it the "Diagonal Sugar Tip"

Check Me Out Matte!

Hey Ladies!

Firstly I want to thank you ladies (you know who you are! <3) for you lovely comments on my last post <3 

Any points for a clever title!? As in check me out mate! You'll understand when you see the manicure ;) lol

I painted my nails red and used a stamping plate and some black polish to stamp on the checkered design! 

Really simple and cool! I also added a matte topcoat because I was in a matte (Mad! LOL) kinda mood!

Swatcher - Barry M - Ruby Glitter!

Hey Ladies!

A few days off from blogging, Been busy doing errands and such! I have great news too!! I got my results for my science course I was doing! I achieved 3 Distinction* thats equivalent to 3 A* :D I am so proud of myself that I was able to achieve this....This means that I got my first choice University place! So coming September I will be starting Biomedical Science at Brunel University!! I am actually so excited! woo!

Since I'm loving glitter lately I bought Barry M's - Ruby Glitter! This is such a beautiful glitter full of pink and black hexes and micro bar glitters! :D I absolutely adore this! It's my new favorite!

I was able to get a great coverage with just one brush stroke. The glitter is so densely packed that one coat was enough! The base it was in dried super quickly and I am very pleased with this buy :)

My swatch is over NYC - Lavender Cupcake :) on my dominant hand (lefty!)

Do any of you ladies do this too!? I know Mina from Cubbiful does! :D lol

Annoying side note: seems like I posted this blog post earlier but blogger kinda effed up do it was saved in drafts as an empty post :( had to write everything again!

PMP Magic Swatch (First Indie!)

Hey Ladies!

So darn excited to share this post with you all today! I have officially purchased my first Indie, who better than from Charlie (Pocket Money Polishes) one of the amazing blogger girls I follow!

I saw so many reviews of her polish and decided that hers should be my first, so yeah...I lost my indie virginity people! HAHA!

The one I absolutely had to have was (It's A Kind Of) Magic from the Glitter Babies 3 - Summer Fun Collection! This glitter is amazing! It's all greeny with a hint of purple and blue :D and just OMG!!

The polish contains (from what my eyes can see!):

- Neon green squares

- Pastel green hexes

- Purple hexes

- Blue holo hexes

- Small fine silver glitter

Bloody damn beautiful I think!

Before I show you the swatches I have to say that the application was great! I got a decent amount f glitter on my nail with only one brush full, I didnt really have to place the glitter and it all evened out itself! That is always a plus :)

Flower Stamping (Left Hand!)

Hey Ladies :)

Quick postie today, I always neglect my left hand when I paint my nails since I find it pretty hard to paint using my right hand! I am a lefty after all :) lol

What simple way to create awesome nail art using stamping and some decals :) The theme is flowery!

I find it real hard taking pictures of my left hand too! It's like I cant get the right hand pose hah!

Green Skittle Time!

Hey Womans :P lol another take on "Hey Ladies!"

How are you all doing!? 

Been a good few days, being out and about with my family!

I really love the colour green as you all know, I so had to do another greens skittle to feed this addiction of mine!

On my pointer I did the sugar spun technique which was a real trend! Then on my middle I dotted some flowers! My ring finger I so had to bring back using fimo cane decals, I added some glitter too :D woooo! My pinky I stamped the all round loved, tiger stripes :) and lastly my thumb is just plain old magnetic polish!

Lemon And Lime!

Hey ladies :)

I have a really simple but soooooooo cute manicure for you gals today!

Yesterday, I went to the beach with my family and decided to take my crochet stuff with me :) I had already crocheted a lemon brooch and decided that this would be a great opportunity to paint my nails green and stick on some lemon fimo cane decals. Then I thought "OH!! green nails = Limes!" So I quickly added limes to my fingers and on my journey to the beach I crocheted a lime brooch!

I used these two as props for my pictures :) after one picture I noticed one of the decals fell off, can you spot it?! lol :P

Awesome Purple Gradient +Glitter!

Hey ladieeeeees :D

I am still loving gradients and glitter and what better to combine the both eh?!

I've already done a Green, Pink and Blue gradient! It's about time I did a purple one :D!!!

For the purple gradient I used NYC - Boundless Berry and Lavender Cupcake and then I used Barry M's Foil Effect in Lilac :)

Here it is!

Such a pretty purple gradient! To make it look even more cooler I added some glitter on top! OMG it looks wonderful with glitter!! :D I used Barry M's - Pink Sapphire :)

I cannot express how much I LOVEEEEEEEE it with glitter on top! Just makes it look UH-MAZING!! :D

Indie Look-A-Like Sandwich!?

Hey Ladies :)

So the other day I wanted to create another glitter sandwich manicure and I got out my gelly like sheer polish and a glitter and began to paint away! 

I painted on two coats of Barry M's Limited Edition polish in colour A (Swatch HERE) which is a sheer pink. Then I painted a tiny bit of Barry M's Glitter polish I recently bought called Amethyst Glitter (Swatch HERE) let that all dry fully then added two thin coats of the pink back on top.........

After a few hours I looked at my nails and was wondering to myself...OMG did I just create an Indie on my nails by doing a glitter sandwich?! Heck yes I did! The pink acted like a milky sheer base for the glitter and really made it look like I frankened the polish! The glitter was so densely packed that it felt textured and just looked amazing to my eyes!

SoooOoo there it is ladies! I kinda sorta created a indie without event thinking about it! LOL :D
