33DC #crumpetsnailtarts - Animal!

Hey ladies :)

Animal print today...I already had my nails painted with neon yellow and then thought automatically of giraffes! So I did giraffe print!

I first like sponged on random brown bits and then I added the giraffe spots with a gold colour using a striper brush.

Pretty easy stuff, I just hope it looks good!

Here it is :)

How do you think it turned out? Maybe the colours clashed too much making the design harder to see?

33DC #crumpetsnailtarts - Abstract!

Hey all :)

Day something today! LOL! Well I know I gotta do something abstract today and I went with using my stamping plates! I used the squiggly, scribble pattern in one of the cheeky plates I have :) 

Thought id be "creative" and use more than one colour so went with pink, black and a silver :)

It came out ok...excuse the horrible pictures. I only have time to do my manicures around 9/10pm and I used the light and wall :D lol which gives terrible pictures!

Well...here it is!!

33DC #crumpetsnailtarts - Chinese Inspired!

Hey all,

BLEHHH MONDAY MORNING...writing this 30 mins before I need to leave and I'm so flipping glad I've not got Uni till about 3pm!

Today's mani is inspired by China and I did Ying and Yang :) pretty simple but very pretty on the nails I think. I couldn't stop staring at my nails when I did it...I actually managed to pull it off! And the design really plays with my eyes!

Notice my new nail shape?! Anyone!? LOL

Swatcher - O.P.I - Vampsterdam & Nail art!

Hey ladies,

What a lovely rainy sunday this is (sarcasm!) I've not been in the mood to study at all, which is terrible since I have an exam in less than 3 weeks! HELP?!?!

I was looking at my nail polish stash and I don't own more than 6 O.P.I polishes and one of them happens to be Vampsterdam, I haven't even used this polish once! OMG! So I decided to show you a swatch of it and some simple nail art on top :)

The colour is so lovely! It's like a purpley plum colour with a kind of silvery frosty colour running through it! The formula is good, two easy coats for full coverage and drying time is normal.

Here it is

I loved the colour so much that I did some cute little hearts on it using a small dotting tool and Barry M's - Caramel :)

The colours go so well together, right!? :D Love how it turned out! What do you ladies think?

Swatcher - NYC - Top of the Gold!

Hey all,

It' Saturday (Stating the flippin obvious!) I've done nothing at all today, just been eating and depressed. Potato.

Remember the phase with gold top coat? paying up to £50 for that stuff! Well, I really wanted to try it, see what its like...is it like gold dust on my nails?! 

I bought a really inexpensive version of it, recently released by NYC  and its called Top of the Gold. Well...It's amazing! I love it! With only one brush stroke I can get full coverage of the stuff, I have to really be careful how much is on the brush! It's like an overdose of gold!

Dries really fast and perfectly smooth! Only down side is that the removal is a pain it the ARSE! It's like glitter!

Swatcher - Barry M Matte - Espresso and Caramel!

Hey ladies!

Almost Friday :D YAAAAAY! 

As you all know Barry M released some new Matte polishes a few weeks ago and I decided to buy two of them. The two that really appealed to me were Caramel and Espresso....Espresso because I was in the Halloween mood and that was such a fitting colour! I used it in my Vampire Bites post (HERE). And then I have been looking for a perfect skin tone colour and when I saw Caramel I just knew I had to have it!!!! 

I am EXTREMELY impressed by these Matte polishes! They are very Matte and very smooth and really great coverage as well as no chipping and fast drying times! Seriously perfect in my opinion :)

Just perfect!

Next up is Caramel:

REALLY matches my skin tone! My favorite!! :D

What do you ladies think? I really think they are worth the money :D

Vampire Bites!

Hey all :)

Second post of the day! I have about 7 posts worth of pictures to edit and blog about! I'm on my study break so thought I'd get this little Halloween design out to you all!

Someone close to me gave me the idea for this manicure and all I had to do was to paint it on my nails! I hope I did it justice!

So it's obviously bloody and vapirey :D lol I used Barry M's Matte - Espresso as the base colour and some glitter and a white striper polish :) And the red is by Boujoir but no idea the name!

I hate to say that I am so much happier this year with my Halloween manicures!

Hey ladies!

Seems like I'm doing all the manicures for this challenge on the day! Woke up at like 9 am and the first thing I did was my nails! Lol, I cleearly have my priorities straight :D

I did something simple :) Used some rhinestones and fimo flowers (which I knew would curl the damn up!) Then felt like adding some texture too :)
